Former Rivers United winger, Bernard Ovoke, is pleased with his switch to former Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Plateau United.
Ovoke was in Jos recently where he agreed a deal with the team.
“I had an eventful campaign at Rivers United and after completing my contract, I felt it is time to move on. I will remember the memories at Rivers United, especially the continental campaign in 2017”, he said to eunisellfootball.com.
Speaking on the challenges ahead, he said: “I am already looking forward to the new season with Plateau United. It’s a new beginning and fresh challenge for me.
“It is my first time away from the South-South, where I played for Bendel Insurance and Bayelsa United.”
Ovoke has been a long time target of newly appointed Plateau United gaffer, Abdul Maikaba.
